OUT OF THE PARK Buy-in has High Point's catalyst pacing ahead of schedule
Under construction is 275 North Elm, the pivotal multiuse piece of The Outfields project being built by the city’s development partner, Maryland-based Elliott Sidewalk Communities. The Outfields will include retail, office, apartments and a hotel. 275 North Elm will house, among other uses, the Triad’s first food hall. Elliott is planning at least four nearby projects.
Ready for occupancy is the first building at Congdon Yards, which joins The Factory at 400 W. English Road and Plant 7 at 410 W. English. The $40 million, 200,000-square-foot building anchors the multiuse development between the right field wall and West English Road that is led by the Congdon family, the founders of Old Dominion Freight Lines.
