Elliott Sidewalk Communities, a commercial real estate development company based in Sparks, Maryland, recently named Marilyn Talabis as director of leasing and project coordination.
In her new role, Talabis will be responsible for managing the company’s leasing portfolio, including a $210 million downtown High Point redevelopment project in North Carolina. Before joining Elliot Sidewalk Communities, Talabis acted as an account manager for The Rouse Company, where she used her extensive real estate experience to add multiple national retailers, including The Gap, Abercrombie & Fitch, L’Occitane and Barnes & Noble, to the company’s portfolio. She later served as leasing manager, senior leasing manager, senior leasing representative, and director of retail leasing for numerous real estate firms and managed various aspects of leasing shopping malls around Maryland and Virginia.
